Homework Books due 15.1.18

Reading Comprehension - Please work with your child to complete the reading comprehension and questions, encouraging them to reread to find answers in the text. They must practise reading the text and the questions.

Maths- Shape Assessment. Please work with your child to completer the shape assessment provided.

Reading – Please continue to read with your child every night and please may you record this in your child’s Reading Record. Reading to your child is also very beneficial, even if they are accomplished readers, as this increases their vocabulary and fosters a love of reading for pleasure.

Spellings- Your child has received a copy of their new spelling list. Spellings will be tested the following Wednesday.

Although the Phonics Screening Check was an amazing success, please continue to encourage your child to implement the spelling strategies they have learned to segment to spell.
