A Bucket List.

Watergate have been very busy and kick started their week by making fruit kebabs, a healthy snack, with Mr Lyon.

The children spent the morning revisiting the Eatwell Plate and categorising food accordingly- well done Watergate.

On Wednesday, Watergate enjoyed their third and final transition morning with Miss Boynton and Mrs Wynne, in Northgate. The children were excited to create a bucket list, learn about their responsibilities (Dobby’s Duties) and make leaves for their random act of kindness tree. The Year Three Team were very impressed with the children’s behaviour- super stars!

Last week, Watergate investigated the life and legacy of Andy Warhol, which inspired them to write a letter to express their admiration of his work. As the week progressed the children created some Andy Warhol inspired art and we can’t wait to continue this next week. Please bring an empty, clean tin can into school on Monday.

Similarly, Watergate explored Emmeline Pankhurst’s contribution to history and touched on her role in the Suffragettes. We look forward to learning more about her next week too.

Have a restful weekend.

The Year Two Team.
