A Moving Day!

What a busy week in Newgate this week as the children transitioned into Bridgegate!

The children were so excited and filled with anticipation when they arrived at school. They learnt where to put their belongings and also made promises to follow the Bridgegate rules. Next Tuesday they will transition again and this time they will go straight into Bridgegate to complete morning challenges from 8.30am.

We have had a busy week back in Newgate as we went on a trip to Liverpool Philharmonic to watch ‘Fairy Magic’. This is a magical story that was accompanied by music played by the  Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra. The children were mesmerised by the sounds and instruments that were being played. We make an annual journey for this performance by Cerrie Burnell and hope to return next year for a new story and a new musical score.

Our week has also included an art day with Mrs Wynne where we learnt all about Super worm! The children went on a super worm hunt, mini-beast hunt as well as designing and creating their very own super worm!
